CULTURE & CONDUCT

How We Support Every Athlete & Family

Athlete Conduct

Respectful, focused behavior keeps the room safe and productive.

  • Listen to coaches and attempt every drill with intent.

  • Treat partners with care; help them learn, don't distract them.

  • Use equipment properly and leave the space cleaner than you found it.

Parent Partnership

We love engaged families and set clear expectations for mat-side help.

  • Coordinate with staff before stepping on the mat to assist.

  • Hold a current USA Wrestling coach's card and compete required background checks.

  • During practice, keep conversations low so athletes stay locked in.

Athletes in Need

Finances should never block a child from wrestling.

  • Contact CWC staff if tuition or travel is a hurdle.

  • We leverage donations and scholarships to keep opportunities open.

  • Confidential support ensures every family feels welcome.

Spectator Etiquette

Practice rooms get loud fast; help us maintain focus.

  • Refrain from shouting instructions from the sideline.

  • Quiet siblings and limit distractions near the mat.

  • Cheer effort, not just wins.
